Terrapin Mountain Farm is an incredibly unique space and Airbnb experience. You can't find a home where the old and the new are so seamlessly and creatively connected. You'll feel your stress level drop the minute you step in the door. There's no hectic schedules here. No deadlines, no traffic, and no noise. It's the perfect setting for bird watchers, outdoor lovers, star gazers, and anyone truly looking to go off-the-grid.

Here's what you can expect during your stay:

*OUTSIDE*

FRONT PORCH: rocking chairs & seating

POND: The stocked pond on the farm is available for catch and release fishing (there may be a few poles at the house or bring your own) and swimming at your own risk.

CREEK: feel free to explore

FIELDS: Feel free to explore the field behind the home to the tree line. You may on occasion see a farmer coming up the driveway or working in the field.

SITTING ROOM: loveseat, 2 chairs, gas fireplace

DINING ROOM: dining table & chairs for 10

SIDE PATIO: table and chairs (will be screened in Sept 2021!)

LIVING ROOM: 2 sofas & 2 swivel chairs, amazing views of Terrapin Mountain, bar cabinet

KITCHEN: stainless appliances, gas stove, quartz countertops, dishwasher, regular coffee maker & ground Starbucks coffee, soda stream, pots/pans, dishware, and everything needed to cook meals

SCREENED IN PATIO: table & chairs

MASTER BEDROOM: queen bed, historic fireplace (non working) & wardrobe

MASTER BATHROOM: (also only bathroom on the main floor) large tile shower, freestanding soaker tub, toilet, sink

LAUNDRY ROOM: washer, dryer, and a collection of books and games for all ages!

*UPSTAIRS*

BEDROOM #1: king bed, historic fireplace (non working), dresser, closet

BEDROOM #2: two queen beds, desk, closet

HALL BATHROOM: freestanding soaker tub, double sink vanity, toilet, tile shower

UPSTAIRS LIVING ROOM: convertible sofa, 2 chairs, smart TV (but streaming is not great, read below)

ROOFTOP DECK: (will be a "live" roof by April 2021!) seating for 4 & the perfect spot for an evening drink and stargazing


**PLEASE READ**

Due to its remote location, there are a few things we want our guests to know before booking:

1. The WIFI works well (as well as calls through wifi), but it is not quite strong enough for streaming. We recommend downloading anything you'd like to watch ahead of time, casting from your phone, etc.

2. Phone service can be spotty depending on which carrier you use. (we've found that US Cellular is the best, Verizon is so/so, and AT&T will work in the back field)

3. Please remember you are fully in nature. We advise bringing bug & tick spray and don't be alarmed if a bug or two get inside during your stay.

4. We work our hardest to resolve any unforeseen maintenance issues that may arise as quickly as possible, but ask for your flexibility in understanding the limitations to being a remote location.

CLIMATE CONTROL: central heat and air + gas fireplace during the winter

PARKING: there is plenty of parking on the gravel driveway

You'll have access to the entire home! There is plenty of parking on the gravel driveway.

We do not rent to those under 25.
Neighborhood overview
There are a few nearby houses in the area but the location feels remote and tucked away from any hustle and bustle. Please note the road and driveway are gravel.
