This is an incredibly unique space, as it's hard to find a nature getaway with this view practically ON the walking/biking trails yet so close to great dining, downtown, etc. (the best of both worlds) Inside the apartment includes unique features such as pine wood walls, sliding barn door, vintage fridge, & of course, live plants throughout.
Here's what you can expect to find at the Greenhouse Apt:
BEDROOM: queen bed, dresser, closet, blackout pull-down shades, ceiling fan & noise machine
LIVING ROOM: leather futon, smart tv with Netflix, 2 sitting chairs, walls paneled with wood recycled from downtown factories!
DINING ROOM: table and chairs, electric fireplace
KITCHEN: stainless range/stove, retro fridge, microwave, Vertuo Plus Nespresso machine w/ some pods & milk frother, stainless sink, basic kitchen necessities (pots/pans, glassware, utensils, paper products, etc.)
BATHROOM: large tile shower, pedestal sink, toilet, towels, hair dryer, shampoo & soap, handicap bars.
OUTSIDE: gravel patio area with pavers overlooking nature, hammock, seating for 2
CHECK IN: Private apt entrance is through a set of french doors with a personalized code anytime after 3pm.
CLIMATE CONTROL: The apartment shares central heat and air with the main house. It generally stays nice and cool in the summer, but there are also ceiling fans if needed. The electric fireplace and a space heater add supplemental heat in the winter if needed.
PARKING: There is a driveway leading to the apartment that guests may use. Be cautioned, as it can be tricky to turn around in and if you're hesitant about using it, feel free to park on the street in front of the house if you'd prefer.
The house is 2 doors away from the entrance to the Blackwater Creek Trail system, over 10+ miles of paved walking/biking trails (and more off-road) through some of Lynchburg's prettiest spots. (Hollins mill dam waterfall, the old train tunnel, rose garden, etc.) You can easily hop on the trail and bike downtown to explore, or just enjoy a leisurely scenic walk through nature.
Liberty University: 15 min
University of Lynchburg: 11 min
Restaurants: 2-3 min
Golf Park Coffee: 3 min
Downtown Lynchburg: 5 min
Guests have 24 hour access to the entire private apartment with a personalized code for the length of their stay.Additional notes

You must be 25 or older to reserve a stay.
In the warm season, we spray periodically for insects and provide a fly swatter, but please remember you are in nature, so don't be too alarmed if you see a bug here or there.
There's a keypad on the entrance to the apartment so that you can enter privately with a personalized code. I live in the main house so there may be moments we run into each other in the parking area, but I want you to enjoy your time away.Neighborhood overview
The home is tucked away in the back of a beloved neighborhood off Rivermont Ave with beautiful old homes. It's safe, quiet, and you'll likely see people walking by the house, getting ready for their own workouts on the trails. There are houses on either side of the house, but the established landscape helps it to feel somewhat secluded.Getting around
It's best to use a car for getting around. Uber and Lyft are also available.
